<About Our Activities>
The Gold Ribbon Network Foundation is dedicated to creating a society where children with childhood cancer can live safely and with smiles. Guided by this mission, we carry out our work based on three core pillars.

(1) Support to improve the quality of life (QOL) of childhood cancer survivors
・Scholarships for childhood cancer survivors enrolled in university or other higher education (40,000 JPY per month)
・One-time hospitalization grants for single-parent households with a child requiring cancer treatment
・Travel cost assistance for families whose child must receive diagnosis, hospitalization (including clinical trials), or special antitumor treatments—based on the attending physician’s judgment—at a hospital located more than 100 km from home
・Providing knitted caps to children who experience hair loss due to treatment, and more

(2) Support for research and overseas research fellowships aimed at making childhood cancer a curable disease
・In 2025, we supported 35 research projects and one overseas research fellowship

(3) Activities to promote understanding and awareness of childhood cancer
Such as:
・Organizing events related to childhood cancer, such as walking activities
・Hosting “Gold Ribbon Month”
・Holding lectures and educational programs on childhood cancer

Donations received through the “Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity” will be used to support children with childhood cancer, survivors, and their families.
